New Google Webmaster Tools Interface and Features

Published by Bo Cakmak at 8:06 pm under SEO

So this morning I am performing my daily check on the 50ish domains I am working on and as I log into Google Webmaster Tools I get completely taken aback by the new Interface.  My first reaction to the new Google Webmaster Tools interface was to be somewhat disappointed as when I get used to things I have a tendency (like most people) to not immediately appreciate change.  However, I managed to get over that rather quickly once I realized that the new interface is much more user friendly along with providing a new feature that I thought was absolutely wonderful.

We all know that there are tools to track blog subscribers but I thought it was wonderful that Google now shows you how many subscribers you have through Google Reader.  I am sure other tools may be able to track this but I am always more interested in getting my stats from the source rather than through any 3rd party software.  I think this shows some big steps that Google is taking with their Webmaster Tools by trying to truly give as much insight into a website as possible for the site owners/webmasters.  Overall I give a big round of applause to the new Google Webmaster Tools Interface and Features!
